As his relationship patterns are the opposite of mine, a part of me fears that if we were to really date, one of us might wind up getting hurt. At least if we get involved with the stereotypical jerk-of-a-male, when our hearts get broken, we can say we saw it coming, that we knew it would come to this. And so when those relationships come to an end, we’re devastated.
